A gunman killed 13 people South Sudan’s capital of Juba – The fans were killed watching an English Premier League game – The gunman was drunk and angry when he shot his victims A gunman in South Sudan’s capital of Juba killed 13 Premier League fans watching Chelsea’s clash with Everton over the weekend. According to Yahoo Sport, Deputy police spokesman Kwacijwok Dominic Amondoc said the death toll had risen to 13 after some of those who were injured in the shooting during the screening of an English Premier League match on Saturday night died of their wounds.  Edesn Hazard scored twice against Everton Amondoc said 10 others were still being treated in hospital. One of the victimes, Wani Patrick, recovering from a bullet wound to his hand said: “When I was shot I fell down and some youths fell on me. I was unable to stand up until he finished shooting all his bullets. Many people were shot, many people died.” It was gathered that the gunman appeared drunk when he shot his victims. He was angry after being refused free entry to the bar where fans had paid roughly $0.50 (0.45 euro cents) each to watch the Chelsea vs. Everton match on television. After being refused entry he went and “came back he was carrying a gun and just started shooting randomly,” said Amondoc. The whereabouts of the shooter are unclear with “investigations underway”, according to deputy government spokesman Paul Akol Kordit. Chelsea defeated Everton 5 – 0 at Stamford Bridge with Eden Hazard’s double added to by Diego COsta, Marcos Alonso and Pedro Rodriguez.
